I led the Testing Tranformation Pillar of the two large transformation programs at Westpac. Financial Systems Integration involved integration of Financial systems for Wespac and St. george to provide a single source of truth. HART focussed on improved hierarchy for structured reporting, single GL entity for banking license and forecasting and reporting solution.

The programs were the first foray for Infosys as a vendor at Westpac with I being one of the pioneers of its early involvement. I led the strategic direction of the engagement right through from pre-sales, solutioning, proposal, program delivery and to transformation.

Achievements

I won several awards and recognition during these two programs:

  • Received Enterprise Solution Delivery Award

  • Best Project and CLient Delight Award

  • An award of 40K in a risk-reward enagagement model for the program. The engagement was delivered in a risk-reward model

  • Startech awards for 8 team members

Tools/Platforms

The solution used Oracle 11i and then 12 versions integrated with various systems including downstream reporting database and solution. The program provided an end 2 end perpective of a lage scale transformation.
